Have you ever been in a situation where you’re on holidays yet you struggle to enjoy it? Holly molly, I can vouch that the struggle is real.
For months I’ve been looking forward to my holidays. A bunch of holiday plans were made while I was counting the day until it comes. Going to places I’ve never been and have always wanted to go but always got no time, trying new baking recipes that I’ve never had the chance to get around, doing more yoga and meditation, write more, and catching up with friends were a few to name.
But they are more likely to be remained plans.

Randomly scrolling photos to delete on my phone to clear up some space, I found a photo of me that was taken in January 2016.
At that time, I was a Uni fresh-grad graduated from a two-year postgraduate course. And, I must say this, I may also graduated from pulling all-nighters to cram for study and eating whatever-food-I-can-grab-which-mostly-junk-food days. Not to mention I lived off 7/11’’s $1 coffee. No wonder I looked like that. And by that I mean I looked unhealthy, unfit and out of shape. When I woke up this morning, I certainly did not think that I would get a tattoo. I mean, yes, I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo since at least two years ago and although I’ve only known not long ago what it would be, I’ve always wanted to do it. But I just never did. Well, until today.

Dear lovely souls,
It’s coming to the end of 2017 and we’re excited about 2018, aren’t we?!
Looking back at 2017 and recalling every moment, the ups and downs, I can’t help but feeling grateful as everything that I’ve experienced for the past year has helped me grow. I am now ready to close the book of 2017, taking with me every lesson that I have learned or have not yet come to understanding and looking ahead to what the Universe has in store for me in 2018.
As I’m sitting under the sunlight, basking in the beautiful city and Yarra River view, I happen to contemplate of what I would hope for in 2018. There are many hopes but one thing for sure, I’m hoping for a joyful and prosperous year for me, my family and everyone else.
I wish everyone a very happy new year!

In day 6, I am required to write down baby steps to achieve one goal (out of 5) that will create a transformation in my life. I choose Love. Because, well, it all starts with love. As Louise Hay once said, “If we really love ourselves, everything in our life works.”
To create the steps to love myself more from time to time, I’m inspired by a self-help book that I’m currently reading, You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero.

Hello divine souls,
Following my previous post, I am now in Day 3 of “Love Your Life in 30 Days” project. I’m putting day 2 and 3 in one post because the activity for day 2 is relatively short. It is to create a theme for my project.
After putting some thought about what I really want to happen this year, I have come to a realisation that I want nothing more than to just simply be. So, my theme for this project is “Simply Being.” Simply being happy. Simply being love. Simply being healthy. Simply being creative. Simply being abundant. And most of all, I want to start being alive.
